This full game walkthrough for Wailing Heights is currently in progress. If you would like to help us write this walkthrough, please post in here. Steam Community: Wailing Heights. This is the second part of my walkthrough of musical adventure game Wailing Heights from Outsider Games. Walkthrough with light commentary. Wailing Heights is available (for Windows & Mac OS) on Stea.
The musical adventure genre may be quite a niche one, but hey, we’ll take any excuse to bust out a few rhythms and play along to some pulsing beats.Wailing Heights is out now on Xbox One, and is putting a unique spin on the genre by allowing a merry band of supernatural ghoulies to host the spectacle.Francis Finklestein has gotten into a right pickle when looking for his next musical breakthrough, turning up in the village of Wailing Heights which is home to all manner of creepy monsters. But once you get to know the residents of Wailing Heights you will find them to be a tolerable bunch with a passion for music, from the vegan werewolfs all the way to the hipster vampires! In order to escape Wailing Heights, Finklestein will have to traverse the world, talking to many people and using his unique ability to collect a number of items and ultimately take that next step to achieving his goal. You see, Finklestein has the ability to possess anybody, and it is through doing this that he will be able to turn his items and knowledge into exciting lyrics for the residents, and no doubt you as the player, to listen to and enjoy.
As well as this each new monster that you possess will grant you new abilities to use in your quest.Playing out in a visually striking art-style that both encompasses the moodiness and fun of Wailing Heights, you can bet your bottom dollar that the game will look and sound groovy. Humour is a big part of the game’s charm so expect quips and jokes aplenty. If you wish to take a trip to Wailing Heights and help poor Francis Finklestein out, then you can now pick up Wailing Heights on.
The game can also be purchased on PS4 and PC.Game Description:A body-hopping, musical adventure game, set in with a horrific hamlet of modern monsters. After being invited to a gig in a town no one’s ever heard of, Frances Finklestein is trapped in a holding cell, charged with the crime of Being Alive! A mysterious cellmate teaches you the power of possession – leaving your corpse in the holding cell and “body-hopping” from hipster vampires, to vegan werewolf, to soulful zombie. Each creature’s skills and abilities bring you one step closer to getting your body out of lock-up and escaping Wailing Heights.
Generally, your dialogue choices do not matter – I usually just chose the first option. I will specifically list choices that matter. When you exhaust a conversation option, it will NOT disappear from your dialogue bubble, so you need to pay a bit of attention so you don't repeat stuff and waste time. All interactions – whether dialogue, picking something up, etc – are indicated by a “.” above your character's head. You need to actually hold down to choose a dialogue option.Sometimes the game will lock up and not let you actually choose a dialogue option. If this happens, relaunch the game and you should be fine. All Limericks Found is finnicky. Follow the walkthrough steps to the letter when collecting the limericks (in the order I list them) and you should be okay.
